Henry Fonda, Glenn Ford, Robert Mitchum

Prominent cast acts to reels of stock shots from old films, actual wartime footage and antique Japanese war films.
A silly soap opera subplot does not help. Still some of the drama and impact of the great naval battle comes through. Beside the major names there were a lot of familiar faces in the cast.

Another suspense on a trite theme, done and redone several times with better scripts. But the cast is quite good and pull it off.
