The 3,000 mile chase (1977)TV Universal TV/NBC Director: Russ Mayberry Screenplay:Philip DeGuere Cast: Glenn Ford (Paul Dvorak/Leonard Stavek), Cliff DeYoung, Priscilla Pointer, Blair Brown.
A secret courrier accepts the mission to escort a chief Witness (GF) and his wife from San Francisco to New York City to testify at a trial. The journey is 3000 dangerous miles long and the drug mob wants to kill them at any price. Another suspense on a trite theme, done and redone several times with better scripts. But the cast is quite good and pull it off. |
